I was born in Abilene, Texas in 1960. My dad was in the AirForce so we moved around a lot during my growing up years. I currently live in Florida with my husband, Cecil, and our two fur babies.
Over the years, I’ve worked at some interesting places, such as the offices at, The National Federation of the Blind in South, Carolina, and The Florida Department of Health in Florida. All have been rewarding and I have met some awesome people.
I have always been the type of person to work hard. There was a time, I loved being outdoors, gardening, swimming, and other activities, but in 2016, I had to stop most activities due to medical issues. In the last couple of years, I was able to start doing some crafting. And, thanks to the Lord, I was able to turn my hobby into a small business. I do have to pace myself.
Meet My Family
This is my husband, Cecil, and our two fur babies, Bubba and Scooter. My husband is an awesome pastor and has been preaching for almost 35 years. We met in 2003 and 13 years later we married. (That’s another God story).
We love our fur babies. When we first got married we had four. Two of our precious babies have since passed on. We miss them. Our other two are spoiled, but we love them!
Meet Justin and Amanda, and the Grandpups!
This is my daughter and our son-in-law, Amanda and Justin, and our two grand-pups, Boogie and Ollie.
Amanda and Justin will celebrate one year of marriage in August. We are so proud of both of them.
Amanda has been a nurse for 15 years, and Justin has just completed Basic Training in the AirForce. He is undergoing the next phase of training, and then they will move to their first base. I was hoping it would be close, as my daughter and I have been best friends. However, they are going to Japan.
I can see a flying trip in the near future.
My Goal and Why I Want to Help Others
Crafting is therapy. I just love designing things, especially with flowers. It gives you satisfaction. The Lord made a way for me to craft and start a business. When I sell something, I try to always send a scripture with the product. I would love to help others see the joy and blessings of crafting. It can lift your spirits and bring a ray of sunshine to your heart. In the days we live, it is easy to become depressed. Having a hobby can help lift the depression. Try crafting…it does the body good. Let me know if I can help you in a particular way and I would be glad to.
Thanks for checking out my website.
All the best,
